Location

The Llevant Crematorium is located in the Artà’s business park, in the heart of the Llevant peninsula and just a few kilometres from the nearby towns of Capdepera, Son Servera, Sant Llorenç and, of course, Artà itself. The facility features a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient installation powered by solar energy, with natural light and surrounded by green areas. It fully complies with the latest strict regulations set by the various authorities regarding crematoria.

The interior includes an entrance and reception area, an urn display, a comfortable private room for family members, and a committal room with a technically advanced, state-of-the-art cremation chamber. The space has been designed to provide families with a warm, comfortable, and supportive environment during such difficult times.

What to do
with the ashes

Saying goodbye to a loved one is a complicated and painful time. But once we have chosen the path of cremation, and being responsible for the remains, we must make decisions. Family members have many options to choose from after cremation.

Niche – cemetery columbarium
Bury the urn or scatter the ashes on the ground
Deposit the urn (biodegradable) or scatter the ashes in the sea or river
Place an urn underground and plant a tree with the urn
Keep an urn at home or another desired location.
Store part of the ashes inside a jewel or decorative mineral

*In addition to these, there are more unique and personalised practices to suit individual preferences — such as creating a sculpture by mixing ashes with clay or metals, turning ashes into a diamond, blending them with pigments to paint a picture, scattering them from a hot air balloon, and as many other ways as one can imagine.
